Every 2026 Subaru Solterra comes standard with the dual-motor Subaru StarDrive® system and an EV-tuned Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive setup that balances smooth power delivery with confident traction on any surface. Performance sees a healthy boost this year thanks to improved motor calibration and an upgraded battery pack that delivers greater efficiency. Standard output increases to 233 horsepower, while a new XT trim joins the lineup with a more performance-oriented configuration producing 338 horsepower.
Thanks to a redesigned battery system, Subaru estimates the Solterra's driving range to be up to 285 miles per charge-a substantial gain over prior models.
