Throughout the month of October, as part of our Subaru Loves Pets support, Cascade Subaru is committed to helping the Humane Society of Summit County. We encourage you to do what you can to adopt or donate or volunteer to help our local animal shelters. 


 

For six years, Cascade Subaru has been an enthusiastic, consistent, and generous supporter of the Humane Society of Summit County. In 2011, Cascade Subaru generously pledged their support of our lifesaving mission of animal rescue by becoming the title sponsor of Bark in the Park, and since then, their support has not waned. The annual spring fundraiser draws over one thousand animal rescue supporters to Springfield Lake Park and celebrates the lives of animals in need through a pledge walk, pet-related activities, and demonstrations. Bark in the Park is the Humane Society of Summit County's second largest fundraiser, annually raising over $50,000 in donations, and is instrumental in increasing HSSC's community exposure as well as animal welfare awareness. Cascade Subaru is a lead sponsor of Bark in the Park. They not only help our organization build excitement and interest in the event, but their presence each year solidifies their dedication to supporting our mission and the animals we save. Along with showcasing several Subaru models on-site during Bark in the Park, Cascade Subaru offers participants custom engraved pet ID tags free of charge - a consistently popular attraction.

Cascade Subaru extends their support of our mission in other ways throughout the year as well. Cascade Subaru is always eager to help by offering to organize food donation drives and helping to increase our community's awareness of animals in need.

 The Humane Society of Summit County is deeply grateful for Cascade Subaru's consistent support. Their generous partnership helps us fulfill our mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome Summit County's abused, neglected, abandoned, sick, and injured animals. Last year, we rescued nearly 1,900 animals and provided each of them with the veterinary care, nutrition, and socialization they so desperately needed. Support from Cascade Subaru and our community ensures that we can accomplish this lifesaving mission.
